About Jiaqi

I build Communities of Practice, faculty development programs, and scholarly infrastructure in health sciences education. The common thread: making scholarship sustainable for clinical educators, instructional designers, and emerging scholars in a field that rarely stops changing.

Now

Assistant Director of Instructional Innovation and Project Management at UNT Health at Fort Worth. As founder of the SoTL Collective, I've built five Communities of Practice — 150+ faculty, 20+ active projects — and lead institution-wide faculty development and educational research.

Then

A decade shaping how higher ed prepares ID teams to lead complex projects, with OLC, EDUCAUSE / Penn State ID2ID, and the POD Network. My co-led public health course redesign earned the 2024 Delta Omega Innovative Curriculum Runner-Up Award. PhD, Iowa State University.

Sustaining educator well-being inside ambitious change; integrating generative AI with rigor, transparency, and care for faculty trust; and building an ICF-credentialed coaching practice.
